Description
Scale 1:500
Boeing’s only three-engine aircraft ever built entered service on February 1, 1964. To this day, the 727 with its distinctive T-shaped tail and the trio of rear-mounted engines remains one of the most popular and recognizable aircraft. Throughout 2024, Herpa will be commemorating the 727’s 60th anniversary with a small range of new models in classic designs. Delta Air Lines would later become the largest customer, operating in total more than 190 727s of both series. However, the Atlanta, Georgia based airline received the first aircraft only through the acquisition of Northeast Airlines in 1972, including eight examples of the short 727-100, including N1635 built and delivered in 1966.
Small and life-like model for Adult collectors. Not suitable for children under 14 years!
