Historic cable drums are a welcome load
When it comes to accessories, WIKING fans certainly have a particular soft spot. This also applies to the cable drums which once rolled into the range on the cubic Mercedes-Benz lorry, and later on the Magirus low-loader semi-trailer. After this followed even more model-making encounters which whet the appetite for more. This is now being supplemented based on authentic prototype manufacturers. This also makes the accessory packing with the cable drums so special, because the circular flanks bear the names of contemporary shippers. So the accessory set includes the companies Felten & Guilleaume A.G. from Vienna (F & G for short), Nordkabel Berlin, or Rheydt Kabelwerke AG. Also included is the cable drum replica in the colours of the Norwegian state telephone and telegraph services, Televerket. Both WIKING collectors and railway modellers will soon find a use for the technical accessories.
