The Swedish construction site trucker in its best role
With this three-axle hood, WIKING is adding a construction site classic to its range, which visibly feels at home in its new, 87-fold miniaturized role. In fact, when it was launched in 1973, the Volvo N10 was one of the popular chassis that ready-mixed concrete companies ordered for their vehicle fleets. The hood with its two-tone drum looks wonderfully contemporary, as it is reminiscent of the 1970s, when the traditional model makers miniaturized the model for the first time in order to please Swedish model friends with typical models. And for good reason: Sweden has been part of the established and reliable export market for traditional model makers since the 1950s, who were thus able to offer Swedish model and railroad fans another true-to-scale “home model”.
