No less than 140 A320 family aircraft are operated by the United Kingdom’s flag carrier. These include the small A319 all the way to the largest and latest A321neo. The latter will gradually replace older A319 aircraft on Trans-European routes, adding capacity on short-haul routes to Western Europe and Scandinavia. Next to being quieter than the aircraft it will be replacing, the A321neo has a different pressurization system, allowing higher humidity and warmth in the cabin for a more comfortable trip.
