German Army Aviation Corps Airbus EC665 Tiger – Franco-German Tiger Training Center, Le Luc, France – “15 Years” – 74+64
Scale 1:72
Originally intended for the anti-tank role, thehelicopter, which entered service in 2003, evolved into a multi-role platform. As a result, there are various versions; the German Army Air Forces use the Tiger, which has a speed of over 300 km/h, as an armed support helicopter. Unlike the Tigers operated by France, Spain or Australia, for instance, the German version UHT is equipped with a mast-mounted OSIRIS sight called OSIRIS, which makes it possible to observe or target from a covered position. 74+64 is part of the inventory of the Franco-German Army Aviation Training Center. On occasion of the 15th anniversary of the training unit in Le Luc, the aircraft received a splendid special livery with a leaping tiger. A metal display stand is included.
