Pure Adventure!!! In 1989, the tenth edition of the Camel Trophy was held in the Amazon rainforest. It covers much of the South American Amazon basin, has an area of six million square kilometers and therefore includes more than half of the world’s remaining tropical forests. In some places it is an almost impenetrable jungle that can only be crossed with reliable off-road vehicles – quite a task! Not all vehicles or all drivers can overcome this difficult challenge, but different teams always face such daring adventures.
