A leopard’s gaze on the flanks of the New Beetle
This New Beetle is an eye-catcher – both in the original and as a WIKING model. This is because the owner has given the beetle descendants a safari look, which the traditional model makers have now emulated in an attempt to accommodate the increasing popularity of the model. Its curvy lines bear a resemblance to a leopard fur, which is heightened by the flanks which brandish the piercing stare of the predator. All in all, one of the most unusual New Beetles, whose prototype, built in 1998, was already put on display during the popular Beetle Sunshine Tour, the world’s largest meeting of New Beetle fans.
