The picturesque valleys of the Black Forest are home to many historic thatched barns with wide overhanging roofs. These buildings, rich in tradition, not only harbour the history of the region, but also practical elements such as an attached fruit press, a wood pile and a wooden wheelbarrow for manure. They epitomise the rural idyll and bear witness to a time when agriculture and its tools played an important role in people’s everyday lives.

This building kit contains: 134 single parts in 6 colours, window foil, 1 paper mask and 1 construction instruction.
